Following our Parent and Student Information Evening, which took place on Thursday 18 January, applications are now being accepted for admission onto our Transition Year Programme for 2024-25.

Fast Fashion

TY student Aoife Devosce is making a short documentary called 'Fast Fashion in My School' for her Politics Module. The aim is to raise awareness about how many people consume fast fashion in our school and offer alternative ways to become more sustainable in what we wear. She would like current students and teacher to complete the following survey for her research. Thank you for your assistance in helping to raise awareness of this important issue.

Note:

Form 3 students who intend to move directly into Form 5 will be afforded the opportunity to complete the Career Profiling and Aptitude Testing (Cost = €40) and to submit their subject preferences once the TY Application deadline has passed. The subject option blocks will not be finalised until the Form 3 subject preference deadline has passed

Mission

To promote the personal, social, educational and vocational development of pupils and to prepare them for their role as autonomous, participative, and responsible members of society.

Education for maturity with the emphasis on personal development including social awareness and increased social competence.
The promotion of general, technical and academic skills with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and self-directed learning.
Education through experience of adult and working life as a basis for personal development and maturity.
